The Smoke-Free Movement
How does this benefit anyone who owns a business? Why does government believe that they have a right to regulate what a business owner can and cannot have within their private property? Why can't non-smokers and those who do not wish to be around smokers go to places that are already smoke-free? Why does the government believe that it must protect people from their own stupid choices?

Government isn't only "protecting people from their own stupid choices." They (government) are protecting everyone from those people's "stupid choices" as well.
