Do you support a bill to make Illinois smoke-free?? Is it time to protect workers health?
As you know by now, Senator Cullerton introduced a comprehensive smoke-free bill that will protect all of us from secondhand smoke. Finally the citizens of this state are seeing some action that will protect workers health and make our workplaces safer and cleaner environments. Don't you agree?
The Capitol Fax Blog already has comments posted from an article that appeared on the Chicago Tribune's website this afternoon. It's based on a press conference the American Cancer Society and its partners just had with the Senator this morning. Take a peak. You might want to comment on there too.

The Smoke-Free Movement
I am on oxygen for the rest of my life thanks to cig. smoke I quit in 1986 but the damage was already done. I have a right to NOT be further poisoned by second hand smoke and less than 25% of the population of Illinois smokes. I would think that fact alone would show the urgent need for a smoke-free state Thank you

I do not support it.

Why not, a backword state like New York has banned smoking without any negative affects
